Born and raised in Worcester, MA, graduated from Boston University School of Nursing, Magna cum Laude, in 1981. She was a nurse for 10 years in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Boston City Hospital. She is a graduate of Boston University School of Medicine in 1992 and completed her residency at UMass Medical School in 1995. Dr. Riordan, a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at UMass Medical School, teaches residents and medical students at her office.
A board certified pediatrician, completing her residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in 1996. She has also had a year of training in Pediatric Hematology Oncology at the Louisiana State University, New Orleans. She began working at Chandler Pediatrics in 2004. She is an instructor in Pediatrics at UMass Medical School and regularly teaches students and residents. She is an active member of the Massachusetts Medical Society and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Amanda McCoy graduated Magna cum laude from Assumption College, then moved to West Virginia for medical school. She completed her pediatric residency training at Albany Medical Center in New York and returned to Worcester to join Chandler Pediatrics in 2012. She is an instructor in the Division of Community Pediatrics at UMass Medical school and often teaches medical students in the office.
